Dear fellow Members,
I want to thank you for the opportunity to run for Director of the Lancaster JetHawks Booster Club.
First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Curt Redecker and all the Directors for donating their time and efforts in which our booster club has maintained a polished name and standard in player support.
As you know, I am the current webmaster and proactive in promoting the booster club to serve the players who depend on us while they are away from home both domestic and foreign.
My vision is promoting the booster club while encouraging enrollment, participation, and always remembering who we serve, the future players of Major League Baseball.
I
have an open-door policy in which no one is turned away and will always have a listening ear for all those who wish to participate in the process that best serves the players/coaches and membership.
I am a process oriented individual in which all tasks of the booster club will be thought out by committee or the directors that best serves the players/coaches and our members. If it becomes necessary to utilize our resources, they will be spent in an economical and qualitative manner that best serves the expenditure. Keeping in mind, the membership will be informed by posting director meeting minutes for viewing.
If I am elected as your Director, I make a commitment to maintain a close relationship with the membership and the Lancaster JetHawks organization to best serve their interests as they have allowed us the privilege to serve their players.
Some of the non profit positions I have held and recognition received in the past are:
Recognized by the Boeing Company for Outstanding Community Involvement
and Exceptional Commitment to the Improvement of Society
President for a Little League in Palmdale for three successful years
Vice President for two years
Held many directorships for a total of sixteen years
District Assistant our area for Little League District 51
Sponsorship committees
Committee serving 6 Little Leagues to coordinate interleague participation
Involved in non profit organizations for over 20 years
Currently the webmaster for the JetHawks Booster Club
Sponsored 9 players in 4 years, 3 in 06, two in 07, and 4 in 08.
In closing, I want to ensure the membership that I will keep in mind our mission statement and remember who I serve. My responsibility is not to direct but to provide direction entrusted by you the membership, to provide leadership and direction of where our membership determines the course it wants to persue. This is not about what we were or "it's always been that way", this is about what we will become and what we as a club envision in our future i.e. Mission Statement, sponsorships, ethics, and finances.
In closing, I ask for your consideration on Election Day for your vote in which I will value but more importantly, your friendship.
